1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Custom Laser Works website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Custom Laser Works provides custom laser engraving, UV printing, and related services for various products including:
- Custom medals and awards
- Medal display hangers
- Acrylic signs and awards
- Photo products
- Custom apparel
- Personalized gifts and merchandise
3. Orders and Quotes
Order Process
All orders are subject to acceptance by Custom Laser Works. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.
Quotes
Quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on design complexity and material requirements.
Design Proofs
For custom orders, we provide digital proofs for your approval. Production begins only after you approve the proof. No refunds will be issued for products made according to approved proofs.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is required before production begins unless otherwise arranged
- We accept major credit cards and e-transfers
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD)
- Prices do not include applicable taxes unless stated
- Bulk orders may require a deposit
5. Production and Delivery
Production Time
Production times vary by product:
- Medal hangers: 3-5 business days
- Custom medals: 7-10 business days after proof approval
- Other custom products: As quoted
Shipping
Shipping costs are calculated based on size, weight, and destination. Local pickup is available in Calgary, Alberta by appointment.
Delivery
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Custom Laser Works is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers or unforeseen circumstances.
6. Custom Design Files
File Requirements
You are responsible for providing design files that meet our specifications. We will notify you if files need to be corrected.
Copyright and Licensing
By submitting designs, you confirm that you own the rights or have permission to use all content, including logos, images, and text. You are solely responsible for any copyright infringement.
File Retention
We retain design files for 2 years to facilitate reorders. Files may be deleted after this period.
7. Quality and Satisfaction
Quality Standards
We maintain high quality standards for all products. Minor variations in color, finish, or size are normal and do not constitute defects.
Defects
If you receive a defective product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will replace or refund defective items at our discretion.
8. Returns and Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our products:
- Custom products cannot be returned unless defective
- Refunds are not available after proof approval and production has begun
- Stock items may be returned within 14 days in original condition
- Shipping costs are non-refundable
- Refunds will be processed within 10 business days
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including designs, logos, text, and images, is the property of Custom Laser Works or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Custom Laser Works shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or business opportunities
- Damages exceeding the amount you paid for the product
- Delays in production or delivery due to circumstances beyond our control
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
